Overview

Idle Football Club ("the app", "we", "us") is a free-to-play football idle tycoon game. This privacy policy explains what information is collected when you use the app, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.

By downloading or using Idle Football Club, you agree to the terms of this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Information We Collect

Idle Football Club itself does not directly collect or store any personal information on our servers. All gameplay data (your club name, progress, assets, match results) is stored locally on your device only.

However, the app uses third-party services that may collect information:

• Google AdMob — used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads.
• Firebase Analytics — used to collect anonymised usage data to help us understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Firebase Crashlytics — used to collect crash reports to help us identify and fix technical issues.
• RevenueCat — used to process and manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect purchase history and device identifiers to validate transactions.
• Expo (React Native) — the platform the app is built on may collect crash reports and basic analytics to help us improve stability.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to show ads within the app. AdMob may collect and use data including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
• IP address and approximate location
• Device type, operating system, and app usage information
• Interaction data with advertisements

This data is used to serve personalised or non-personalised advertisements. Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalisation"

In-App Purchases

Idle Football Club offers a one-time optional purchase to remove all advertisements from the app permanently ("Remove Ads", £1.99 or local equivalent).

• Purchases are processed by Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). We do not have access to your payment card details.
• Purchase validation and management is handled by RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect your device identifier and purchase receipt data to validate and restore your purchase.
• The Remove Ads purchase is tied to your Google Play or Apple ID account and can be restored on any device signed in to the same account using the "Restore purchase" option in the Settings screen.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple in accordance with their respective refund policies.

Data Storage

Your game progress, club details, and settings are saved locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised, aggregated data about how players interact with the app — such as which features are used most, session length, and progression milestones. This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the game.

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports when the app encounters an error. These reports may include device type, operating system version, and a stack trace of the error. This data is used solely for debugging and improving stability.

Push Notifications

The app may send local push notifications to remind you to collect your earnings or return to the game. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve any external server. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Idle Football Club is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove that information.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• The right to know what data is collected about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of personalised advertising

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, most requests can be fulfilled by simply uninstalling the app (which deletes all local data) and adjusting your device's ad tracking settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
